Cape-Port Caterers offers two basic types of catered Lobster Bakes:

  On-site at the Rhumb Line Resort in Kennebunkport (outside by the pool or in your own private room)

  Off-site at the location of your choosing.

You will Fall for our famous "DownEast Feast" Lobster/Clam Bake including

 

  New England Clam Chowder

  Fresh Steamed Maine Clams

  1 ¼ lb. Fresh Maine Lobster*

  Drawn Butter

  Red Bliss Potatoes

  Crisp Cole Slaw

  Native Corn on the Cob 

  Dessert

 

*(Steak may be substituted for Lobster)

 

On-Site at the Rhumb Line Resort:

Your groups special afternoon or evening will begin with complimentary hors d’oeuvre served in the privacy of your own dining hall. A completely stocked cocktail bar is also available to all. For those curious folks, a peak at the lobsters cooking under the hot, steaming seaweed can be arranged, a perfect photo opportunity.

 

Our Big Screen TV will be programmed to shoe the Narrated Tour of the Kennebunks, seasonal scene, as well as a look at the film of the “Storm with No Name,” the storm that damaged President and Mrs. Bush’s summer and home (and was the subject of “The Perfect Storm” novel and subsequent movie).

 

Before our guests are served their Feast, the Bake Master will demonstrate “How to Eat a Lobster” the correct, Maine way. He also will explain how that same lobster got from the ocean floor to your serving plate.

 

Our unique presentation and meal has proven to be a real crowd pleaser. We continually hear the guests exclaim, “This was great, the highlight of our vacation!”

Our Lobster Bakes feature our own clam chowder, freshly-dug steamed clams, one 1-1/4 lb. Maine lobster, fresh corn on the cob, roasted red bliss potatoes, hot drawn butter, and dessert. A 12 oz. sirloin strip steak may be substituted for the lobster, upon request.
